I’ve worked with a lot of design firms over the years, but this one really delivered. I came to them with a tricky hillside lot in Malibu and the goal of building a proper luxury mansion with big ocean views. They did a full site walk, pointing out where the light hits in the morning and how to position the pool for privacy. The layout they came up with has retractable glass walls, an infinity pool, and an outdoor kitchen that flows straight into the dining space — it feels like one big living area inside and out. The design phase was about four months. We met in their LA office a few times and did the rest over video calls while I was traveling. Anytime I asked for a change, they’d send back more than one option so I could pick what worked best. By the end, I knew this mansion house plan was going to be a highlight in my portfolio.

I'll be honest - we were skeptical about hiring a smaller design firm for our Beverly Hills mansion renovation. We're used to big names, fancy offices, the whole show. But Ataman Studio proved that talent trumps size every time. They redesigned our estate with such sophisticated attention to detail. The wine cellar alone is a masterpiece - temperature-controlled, custom millwork, even a tasting area with imported Italian marble. They coordinated with our interior designer seamlessly and managed to preserve the mansion's 1920s bones while giving it a completely contemporary feel. The entertaining spaces flow beautifully from the chef's kitchen through the great room to the outdoor pavilion. Honestly, we get compliments every time we host. Anna has created something truly special here - a home that's both a smart investment and an absolute joy to live in.

Andrew was instrumental in taking care of of the drawings for my remodel. As a contractor, I was truly appreciative of the knowledge that he had when it came to drawing the details of the project. The homeowner expressed tremendous satisfaction in not only how fast the drawings were completed, but also the detail of each area of the house. Even though it was a small addition to the house, Andrew made it a big priority, and was able to listen to all the recommendations, and put them all down into actual plans. The drawings were also able to be submitted to the building department, and we only needed to get the Structural Engineer detail, so it made a huge difference that Andrew had such detail for the Structural Engineer to add on, and then be able to submit to the city for the permit process.
